Myanmar is a mountainous country. The Kumon Range in the north contains the country's highest peak, Mount Hkakabo, at 19,296 feet (5,881 meters). In central Myanmar lower lands surround the Irrawaddy and Sittang rivers. Myanmar has a tropical climate.
